Homoclinic Bifurcation Behaviors of Grid-Following and Grid-Forming Convertersd grid-following converters. It is shown that this basin of attraction can be significantly enlarged to contain the unstable equilibrium point and is continuous along the power-angle direction. As a result, the converter can resynchronize with the grid after a few cycles of oscillations, where the power angle increases by at least 360 degree.

Impact of Outer Loops of Grid-Following Converters on Transient Stabilitybandwidth of the current loop is relatively narrow, and/or the coefficient of the voltage feedforward control is relatively small. Moreover, it is shown that the transient stability is less affected by the DC-link voltage control parameters, but profoundly influenced by the current limit.

Stability of Islanded Microgrids Considering Distributed Secondary Controlicrogrid are studied. It is also found that the location of pinned controllers and the topology of communication network have a significant impact on the microgrid stability.
