Some Observations on Reference Stresses, Skeletal Points, Limit Loads and Finite Elements,tructures (e.g. a uniform cantilever) where a range of Reference Stresses may be more appropriate than a single stress and for structures which are stressed internally. The solutions evolved may assist future development of Best Estimate solutions using Reference Stress/Skeletal Point techniques.

Vittorio Di Tomaso,Gianfrancesco D’Angelo damage, more general than the kinetic equation which was considered previously by J.Hult and Broberg. In the paper the hereditary equation of creep in the presence of damage is also considered. Using this equation, the authors found the limiting deformation at the moment of fracture.
