Danielle Nierenberg,Katie Spodenompressible Euler systems (.), (.) and (.)–(.) are particular examples of hyperbolic conservation laws. In this chapter we deal with hyperbolic conservation laws in general. More details can be found in textbooks, e.g. by Dafermos [.].
