General Polynomial Method for the Design of Discrete-Time Controllers,Discrete unstable systems and systems containing dead time can be stabilized and controlled using the general polynomial method which is based on the solution of a D. equation. Some features of the method are presented.

An error signal is created comparing the measured output signal and the reference signal, which acts as an input to a controller unit which modifies the input of the process. The properties of a closed loop control system are analyzed.

With these effects generally the quality specifications set for a control system can be fulfilled supposing an adequate process model. Controller design can be done easily using consideration in the frequency domain.
