While more men are engaging in conventionally feminised behaviours, it is clear that such behaviours are often reconstructed in ‘masculine terms’. Implications for improving men’s body image are discussed.

Theorising Masculinities,ments of masculinities within specific communities is advocated, including online environments which may encourage more expansive expressions of (digital) masculinities. A focus on social change is articulated, situating (changing) men and masculinities at the forefront of gender equality and combating sexism and homophobia.

Affective Masculinities: Emotions and Mental Health,of emotional displays from men, which bodes well for psychological well-being. However, I also note the continued influence of traditional masculinity norms which may operate to constrain, police, or downplay expressions of vulnerability. Implications for male mental health promotion are discussed.
