High strain rate constitutive relationships for semi-crystalline polymers using a combined numerica be resistant to rapid crack propagation. The data which includes stress/strain results over a strain rate range 10. to 10. s. and a temperature range −20 to 20°C are fairly well described by the Eyring relationship, even though wave propagation effects should be accounted for at high strain rates.
