A Superior Tracking Approach: Building a Strong Tracker through Fusionacking results in form of the object’s bounding box as input and thus can work with arbitrary tracking algorithms. It is also suited for live tracking. We evaluated our approach using 29 different algorithms on 51 sequences and show the superiority of our approach compared to state-of-the-art tracking methods.

Intrinsic Image Decomposition Using Structure-Texture Separation and Surface Normalsfaces, we formulate the constraint based on a locally linear embedding framework to promote local and global consistency on the shading layer. We demonstrate that combining the novel texture-aware image model and the novel surface normal based constraint can produce superior results to existing approaches.

Graph Cuts for Supervised Binary Codingoptimization problem that involves both the encoding functions and the binary label assignment. Then we apply the graph cuts algorithm to address the discrete optimization problem involved, with no continuous relaxation. This method, named as Graph Cuts Coding (GCC), shows competitive results in various datasets.

Planar Structure Matching under Projective Uncertainty for Geolocationuncertainty based representation and incorporate it into a geometric matching framework. We show that our approach is able to rule out a considerable portion of false candidate regions even in a database composed of geographic areas with similar visual appearances.
