Efficient matching of space curves,an invariant manner. “Sliding Pairs of Constant Total Curvature” were seen experimentally to provide stable point pairs on all scales allowing to reduce the size of the description from .. to ., where . is the number of evenly spaced sample points taken from a curve.

A statistical regularization framework for estimating normal displacements along contours with subpstage itself, not as a post-processing step. An efficient convolution-like implementation of the computations involved in the relaxation scheme is described. Results are presented concerning synthetic experiments and real-world sequences.

Computation of 3D-motion parameters using the log-polar transform,og-polar sensor able to fixate. The polar nature of the complex logarithmic mapping produces a computationally superior representation of the optical flow. Based on an insight for the translational case we present a new algorithm for computing the focus of expansion by applying fixation in case of general motion.

ExSel++: A general framework to extract parametric models,tperforms annealing techniques on many classical optimization problems. Our robust fitting technique, which increases the accuracy of the selected models, may change the classification of data elements which requires the final selection. We apply our framework to simultaneously extract different geometric models from 2D and 3D data.
