Bridge the Public-Private Divide,guage is paramount in this process. When the caregiver is regulated, the child can become more regulated. These modulating qualities have been proven over and over to successfully help a child calm. The carer and therapist can use these nonverbal and body-based characteristics to assist their child to regulate following complex trauma experiences.
