Altogether this leads to a more realistic rescheduling problem. The main result is to show that the problem is polynomial. We discuss how to benefit from the polynomiality result in a machine scheduling environment.

Arc-Flow Approach for Parallel Batch Processing Machine Scheduling with Non-identical Job Sizesespan on parallel processing machines .. The mathematical model is solved using CPLEX, and computational results show that the proposed models have a better performance than other models in the literature.
