Graph Cuts Based Tomography Enhanced by Shape Orientationntation as an a priori information. The new method is capable for reconstructions in cases of limited projection view availability. Results of experimental evaluation of the considered graph cuts type reconstruction methods for both binary and multi level tomography are presented.

Markus Boos M.D., Ph.D.,Sara Samimi M.D.rgy on-the-fly, during the acquisition, based on projection information. By experiments on software phantom images we show that this adaptive approach can produce CT images of better quality, and in the same time, by consuming less energy.
