Schweißtechnische Fertigungsverfahrene continuum part in particle spectra. Evidence will be presented that the continuum predominantly originates from quasi-free breakup processes in which one cluster in the projectile behaves as spectator, whereas the remaining cluster interacts with the target nucleus.
