Central Force Fields,h potentials both quantitatively, deriving trajectories and laws of motion when possible, and qualitatively, delimiting the allowed phase space by a proper use of constants of motion. The possible simple and multiple periodicity of oscillations in such potentials is investigated, too.

The Earth Potential,al generated by the Earth. The Earth, in a first approximation, can be considered represented by an axisymmetric distribution of matter, so that the potential development is just in terms of zonal harmonics, only. A simple schematization of the problem of an artificial satellite motion in the gravitational field of the Earth is given.
