Characterization of the 1-Aminocyclopropane-1-Carboxylate (ACC) Synthase Isozymes (Genes) in Tomato vegetative hypocotyls as influenced by auxin treatment. Our results indicate that ACC synthase is encoded by a multigene family and each gene is differentially induced by developmental, environmental and physiological factors.

EFE Multigene Family in Tomato Plants: Expression and Characterizationession at the RNA level. Gene specific oligonucleotides were designed and used as primers in PCR reactions to amplify about 200 bp of the 3’ untranslated regions.
