The Volume-Activated Chloride Current Depends on Phospholipase C Activation and Intracellular Calciuant without affecting the maximal current achieved at steady-state, indicating that intracellular Ca. mobilization is sufficient to trigger I. activation and that extracellular Ca. potentiates current activation.
