https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4684-0032-8mmended in routine clinical practice. Recently, dual-energy CT (DECT) has been introduced to reduce beam-hardening artifacts and improve the diagnostic performance of CCTA in patients with severe coronary calcification. In this chapter, we will investigate the implication of CACS and further discuss the application of DECT in patients with CACS.

Richard H. Enns,George C. McGuires aneurysm. The abdominal aorta, the femoral artery, and the pulmonary artery are more commonly involved among arterial VBDs whereas coronary involvement is quite rare. In this chapter, based on a case of coronary pseudoaneurysm, we will discuss the imaging manifestations of VBDs involved with coronary artery.

Striated motion and resonance absorption, cause of the high prevalence of late symptoms and complications. Traditionally, conventional angiography was the gold standard for the diagnosis of coronary anomalies. With more frequent use of multidetector computed tomography (CT) in chest and cardiac imaging, the incidence of coronary artery fistulas has been increasing.

Myocardial Infarction, ardial viability and myocardial metabolism directly. Recently, the latest advances in CT scanner technique have opened a new era for cardiac imaging with MI patients. In this chapter, we will describe the characteristics of MI in cardiac CT imaging, and further discuss the application of new cardiac CT technology in patients with MI.
