The Activity of the Basolateral Membrane Calcium-Pumping ATPase and Intestinal Calcium Transportis still not certain whether the activity of the Ca.pump is regulated in the intestine. Regulation of activity would be expected in different states of Ca. absorption, such as on varying intakes of Ca., or by vitamin D, and in different areas of the small intestine.
