Some inequalities related to roughening,ntroversy. Decision Making Under Uncertainty (DMUU) strategies are appropriate for managing wicked problems. The shift to DMUU in the water sector involves a paradigm change because it calls for new modeling strategies, a new role for science in water planning, public engagement, knowledge mobilization, and learning to live with uncertainty.
