Control of Buckling Failure of Ship Structure are clarified. The variation of strength and probability of failure with time is illustrated. The effect of corrosion on the flexural rigidity and buckling of ship strength members are explained. Linear and exponential equations are used for modeling the variation of the rate of corrosion with time.
