Analysis of Three-dimensional Separated Flow Using Interacting Boundary-Layer Theory model problem studied in this investigation is laminar flow over a flat plate with a protuberance. Three series of computations are made to 1) assess the accuracy of the present method and 2) examine the effect of Reynolds number on the structure of three-dimensional laminar flow.

Steady Viscous Flow Past a Cylinder and a Sphere at High Reynolds Numbersy (but unstable) flow fields can not at present be obtained by any other means. We observe distinctive trends for increasing Reynolds numbers which may be significant in devising asymptotic wake models.

A Review of Two-dimensional Turbulent Separated Flow Calculation Methodslent flows, much effort has been devoted to developing calculation methods. In 1985 Simpson [1] reviewed many experiments and calculation methods for such flows. One purpose of this brief paper is to include some more recent calculation method results.

A new Asymptotic Theory of Turbulent Boundary Layers and the Turbulent Goldstein Problemiting behavior of solutions to the boundary layer equations near the point of zero skin friction in a prescribed adverse pressure gradient. In his classic paper, [1] Goldstein addressed this problem for laminar flow, while here we consider the corresponding problem for turbulent flow.
