Martyn Dibb BSc (MedSci), MB ChB, MD, FRCPof promoting bone regeneration. These materials should, if possible, be only a temporary replacement of the recipient’s bone. With regard to precise terminology, it would really be more appropriate to speak of “bone-transplant-replacement materials”.
