An Amalgamation of Blockchain and Connected Health for Combating COVID-19, the COVID-19 crisis. An overview of connected health is first presented, followed by an introduction of blockchain technology. Subsequent discussion focuses on the integration of blockchain and connected health (i.e., BeCH) for addressing various aspects and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specific case studies of BeCH are also presented.

In addition to outlining potential existing and future use cases, we will also dedicate a significant portion of the chapter to known and proposed implementations of blockchain technology across healthcare environments, both clinical and non-clinical.
