The Social Construction of Blackness in Azania,in other words blackness as agency. The latter explains the persistence of blackness and ideas consistent with it. Further, I look at the evolution and instability of the political, racial and cultural usage and categorization of the term blackness, which reached its zenith with the inception of BC movement.
