Hydrogels for Cell Encapsulation and Bioprinting,important role in the design of bio-inks and bio-papers in bioprinting. These properties include gelation time, rheological properties, viscosity and mechanical stiffness as well as transport properties, fusibility, and degradation kinetics. This chapter reviews the salient features of hydrogels for use as bio-ink or bio-paper in bioprinting.
