Constitutive Modelling of Endothelium Denudation for Finite Element Simulation of Angioplastyion in finite element software. This model will help optimize balloon and stent deployment conditions to minimize the amount of damage to the endothelium, and eventually to reduce the occurrence of restenosis.

Modelling Prostate Gland Motion for Image-Guided Interventionsce displacements. The method was validated using 3D transrectal ultrasound images of the prostates of five patients, acquired before and after expanding the balloon covering the ultrasound probe. The mean target registration error, calculated for anatomical landmarks within the gland, was 1.9mm.

Mechanism and Localization of Wall Failure During Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Formation find these regions to be uniquely correlated with actually observed aneurysm locations. We demonstrate that wall fatigue and failure are probable factors influencing the formation of an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
