Gravid Uterus as a Soft Biological Shell,ooth muscle cells in the tissue. However, the results cannot be extrapolated to the whole organ to study the propagation of the wave of depolarization and associated contractions in the gravid uterus during labor and delivery. Here, we shall formulate a mathematical model of the uterus as a thin soft biological shell.
