Effects of External Voltage in the Dynamics of Pancreatic β-Cells: Implications for the Treatment ofllation to a slow oscillation phase or 3.5 mV that induces transition in the burst from slow to fast oscillation phase. Voltage pulse higher than 3.5 mV leads to the extinction of bursts and, therefore, inhibits the process of insulin secretion. These results are reforced by phase plane analysis.

Visible Aquaphotomics Spectrophotometry for Aquaculture Systemsintroduced to define the application of spectrophotometry in the near infrared region (NIR) in order to understand the influence of water on the structure and function of biological systems. Currently aquaphotomics is focused on the NIR part of light spectrum, while we want to broaden this investigation to also include the visible part.
