Anion Charge Transfer in Biologically Active Systemsows that such counter-ions can have a profound influence on charge transfer phenomena in these drugs. Ressults of our experiments are discussed in terms of the possible behaviour of the drugs in micelle formation, oxidation-reduction reactions, interactions with and transfer across membranes.

Micro-dielectrophoresis of Dividing Cellsable small particles. Rapidly dividing cells attract more than do the nonreplicating murine red blood cells or confluent (i.e., rarely dividing) murine “L” cells. Reproducing cells attracted many more highly polarizable BaTiO. particles than they did of much less polarizable BaSO. ones (dielectric constants 4000 and 11 resp.)
