II Stages outside the Vertebrate Host,nstrated beautifully how some genera of parasitic protozoa adapt their metabolism to environmental conditions and that these adaptations are paralleled by morphological changes. The control of these transformations and the extent to which they occur are two of the most interesting problems currently under investigation.
