SOS Cloud: Self-organizing Services in the Cloudm of services. This work proposes a bio-inspired, self-organizing solution to support the allocation and deallocation of virtual machines and the deployment of services on virtual machines in a cloud infrastructure. The goal is twofold: to meet the service level agreements and to minimize the number of required virtual machines.

Dynamics and Convergence of Resource Prices in Market-Oriented Overlay Networks paper, we consider market-oriented overlay networks in which peers trade resources and services through a common currency. From the perspective of market economics, the dynamics and convergence of resource prices in such networks is investigated by simulation and mathematical modeling, and the results are briefly reported in this short paper.
