Iatrogenic Disorders of the Esophagus,Chapter 17 introduced stored procedures and provided the basic syntax for their use as well as some simple examples. Stored procedures encompass quite a bit more and deserve some additional attention. The syntax allows for sophisticated construction of related, interdependent operations as well as graceful error control.
