,Principles of Ultrasound Imaging,the main focus of the book is on B-mode imaging, this chapter continues by describing different B-mode imaging systems. Finally, the chapter is finished by defining some common evaluation parameters that are used for the quantitative evaluation of image reconstruction algorithms.

Ultrafast and Synthetic Aperture Ultrasound Imaging,e imaging technique and its different modified versions (e.g., diverging wave imaging) are explained. Also, a variety of algorithms that have been developed in the reconstruction of images in plane wave imaging, as well as synthetic aperture-based imaging, have been presented.

Finally, it ends with a brief explanation of super-resolution ultrasound imaging and its applications.
