Analysis Methods for Beam Position Extraction from HOM,orward way [1]. However, HOMs in third harmonic 3.9GHz cavities are much more complex, therefore advanced data analysis methods are required in order to extract the beam position information from HOMs effectively [2]. These methods are explained in detail in this chapter.

In order to be able to choose the frequency best suited for diagnostics, the three options were studied with the help of a test electronics, which overcomes the resolution limitation of the spectrum
