To Live the Things that I before Imaginedf the associated granitoids are of anatectic origin related to the thickening of a continental border. This border was created during a period of collision with a newly attached southern Gondwana continent, which now forms most of Patagonia, south of Tandilia.

https://doi.org/10.1057/9781137570505tion into appropriate phase diagrams indicates that alkali basalts and basanites from the Sarabwe vent are transitional lavas of intermediate to low pressure evolution, with variable degrees of crustal contamination. Tephrite from the Fiteko vent shows signs of clinopyroxene + olivine fractionation at low pressure from more ‘primitive’ magma.

Trotsky in the Prison Notebooks,n which imprinted a LS fabric on the Precambrian fabric. Existing basement rocks were dissected by Miocene leucogranite intrusions. During the D. phase the basement rocks were gravity nappes thrust southward. The basement reactivation is related to post-collision, continental convergence tectonics.

Tectonics of Some Spatial Arraysis suggested that global-scale linears (fold belts, volcanic chains, continental margins, oceanic ridges etc.) also have an underlying regularity and a tendency to polygonal patterns. The spacing in arrays is controlled by such factors as buckling, fracture mechanics, density and viscosity contrasts
