Angela John Thurman,Laura del Hoyo Sorianoopic study. Analysing the SED and Balmer emission line profiles he concluded that MWC 314 is a highly reddened supergiant with a strong and slow stellar wind which could be considered as an LBV candidate.

Electrical and Electromagnetic Components,ssion lines (often displaying P Cygni profiles) and absorption lines of FeII and other low ionization species in the UV. Besides, prominent emissions are usually seen in the near IR and some of them are IRAS sources. Recently we have started a new study program on them, with the following goals:

At it will be seen below, because of the measurements of the parallaxes for large samples of B and Be stars, the results of Hipparcos bring new insight on the absolute magnitudes of Be stars as compared with the absolute magnitude of B stars. A preliminary study was already published in Briot et al. (1997).

Ultraviolet Extinction of Circumstellar Dust in HD 45677en by (1): .. = ..+ .), where ..= .. + .., .) = E(B-V). + .. (ISM stands for interstellar component and CSD for circumstellar dust) and a(λ), b(λ) are universal interpolatory functions. We used archive IUE data for HD 45677. As comparison star we used HD 64802 (B2V, E(B-V) = 0.05).
