Flow Mechanism in Turbine Rear Frame Ducts,Structurally, turbine rear frame (TRF) is a part of the engine’s load supporting system, which is designed to support the low-pressure rotor. Aerodynamically, it is a component of the flow passage, connecting the low-pressure turbine with the exhaust nozzle, and thus it is also called exhaust casing.
