,Convex Polytopes and Gröbner Bases,we see a significant reduction in strokes and population DALYs. The case study highlights the importance of individuals understanding their own stroke risk for stroke prevention and the usefulness of agent-based models in assessing the impact of stroke interventions.

Modeling Realistic Human Behavior in Disasters. A Rapid Literature Review of Agent-Based Models Revigate general behaviors in emergencies (i.e., evacuations), or reactions to specific crises (i.e., COVID-19). Our analysis shows that while all the papers agree in advocating for more realism in modeling human behavior, very little has been done in terms of designing agents, interactions and environments that can be considered realistic.

Exploring Investment Decisions in Home Heating System Replacement with a Multi-stage Algorithm: An A’ decision-making related to heating system replacements. Preliminary model runs with this algorithm show that it is able to produce complex dynamics with different agents being at different decision-making stages at the same time.
