Here the work is carried a step further, showing the results of using the interferometer from the ground (Pic du Midi, 3 km above sea level) and from the C141 aircraft at 13 km, in obtaining atmospheric emission spectra in the two passbands.

High-Latitude Ionosphere-Atmosphere Interactionseshoe distribution of particle and Joule heating with strongest energy input lying in the region of the polar cusp.
