Elementar-transzendente Funktionenuilibrium profile may be found as a function of the temperature perturbation at all heights. Thus the method may be used for small vertical scale perturbations. The inclusion of the ozone 9.6μm band into the heating rate calculations is shown to significantly reduce the photochemical relaxation rate above 40km.
