Internet-based information resources on aquatic alien species relevant to the Ponto-Caspian Regionting rates of introductions of harmful alien species in the region, severe impacts of these species on the environment, and associated economic losses. Such an information system should be developed using already available information technologies, in order to ensure its effective incorporation in a global invasive species information network.
