https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-40938-7y photon correlation spectroscopy. They are attributed to the .′- and .-relaxations and they exhibit similar power law decays. All three processes are analysed in terms of recent mode coupling theories. The scaling relations inherent in the mode coupling approach are tested by determining the relevant exponents directly from the spectra.

Computer simulation of the glass transition of polymer melts,laxation time diverges as exp (const/..) in .=2 and as exp [const/.−..)] in .=3. For .=3 the self-diffusion constant also follows the Vogel-Fulcher law, with ..=250 K for chain lengths .=20 and potentials adapted to bisphenol-A-polycarbonate [BPA-PC].
