Recent analyses show that these methods can be employed for both proving existence of weak solutions and numerical simulations. The (newer) adaptation of the Engquist-Osher upwind scheme is illustrated by numerical examples.

A Turbulent Dispersion Model for Particles or Bubbles consequently that model describes macroscale motions for two-phase flows. The microscale origin of the turbulent dispersion force will be highlighted, and a model for this force derived. Results of application of this model to sediment transport will be shown.
