https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4613-1151-5s and the advances in the design of compatible analog circuits in CMOS provide the fabrication tools for the realization of these systems. For the near future, these analog parallel signal processing systems show very promising applications in the field of real-time 2D (two-dimensional) sensor signal processing and perception-like applications.
