Some like It Cold: How Spiders Survive Adverse Seasonse to death, dry out, become mouldy or starve to death? Some spiders’ adaptation to these adverse conditions has even gone so far as to make this their preferred season or habitat. So, some really do like it cold.

My Home is My Castle: Common Spiders in and Around the Househarvestmen are found on the ground or on walls and trees and do not build webs, cellar spiders are usually found apparently free in spaces in the corners of garages, cellars and attics. Of course, they do not float freely in space, but hang in an irregular, very fine and thus hardly visible three-dimensional web.

Descartes on Immortality Prior to 1640,ibrational plane of polarized light, so they “see” the position of the sun even through clouds and therefore never have orientation problems. And with their seemingly inflationary number of eight eyes, many spiders can even see what is happening behind their backs.
