Fundamentals of thermodynamics,aging to improve its exploitation skill. To evaluate its performance, the proposed algorithm is benchmarked on a set of test functions defined in CEC2005. The results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms a well-known optimization algorithm including the squirrel search algorithm.
