Cancer Biomarkers in Body Fluids be the lattice resistance to screw dislocation motion. The surface film softening (SFS) discussed in this chapter is the most recent observation in support of this theory. In addition, the SFS phenomenon suggests a method to improve the ductility of b.c.c. metals in the cryogenic temperature range.
