Extension of Blind Signal Processing,rains on the surface of high-strength steel plates are measured using stereo image correlation (DIC). The stress–strain relation after the necking is obtained from the load and strains by inverse problem analysis using the virtual field method. The stresses obtained by the proposed method are well balanced with the external forces.
