Robert Rusek,Joan Colomer-LlinasSeveral researchers attempted the synthesis of high-quality large-scale 2D materials. The present book chapter deals with the synthesis of low-cost 2D materials of different types and their scalability. Along with the synthesis a few real-time example was also included for the synthesis of 2D material and their application.

Maria Karam,Rebecca Wilde,Patrick Langdoncent development of wearable textile sensors toward monitoring human health will be highlighted, wherein different monitoring analytes and diagnosis methods will be emphasized. Finally, a summary with a brief discussion of the prospects of 2D materials-based textile sensors will be presented.
