Indeed, aircraft have raced ahead to make the most substantial progress in the shortest time. Air in Motion,e have already seen that fluid mechanics teaches the behavior of fluids—liquids and gases — at rest and in motion. Only after mastering these fundamentals, albeit here without the use of higher mathematics, can we begin to understand aerodynamic drag and lift and what makes airplanes fly.

Turning to Aerodynamics,round, we can now turn to aerodynamics, the study of the forces acting on all objects moving in a fluid. Natural and man-made objects are included; from fish to submarines, from birds to aircraft, all are subject to the same laws of aerodynamics.
