Direct Lepton Production in Hadron Interactions,lepton production, with the primary purpose of determining the dilepton contribution to the single lepton spectra. A particular advantage over pp experiments is that the baryon number is zero, resulting in a considerable simplification of the final state. Thus the e.e. system is a particularly convenient probe to study photon-hadron coupling.
